On 5th September, in our garden in Shepherdswell, my husband, David, and I saw a bright, metallic object travelling in a straight line in the sky. The sun was shining brightly on it and it gleamed. All of a sudden it disappeared completely. No trace at all. There was no cloud and the sky was a clear blue.
