After conducting some simple research on Google Maps, it appears that the source of this phenomenon may be the island of Bimini or possibly Freeport.

I don't live there but Google says it's not far from Miami only 52 miles from Sunny Isles to the Island of Bimini. However, due to my unfamiliarity with the area, it is difficult to say for certain if it's possible that on a clear day if the Bimini Island can be seen? Nevertheless, Google Maps displays the presence of the island of Bimini. What are your thoughts on this?

I lived in Miami for over 60 years, fished up and down thus coast off Miami Beach, South to the keys, north to Jacksonville and gone to the Bahamas many times, no Bimini cannot be seen from the Miami coast, due to the Horizon.
