Couple Pull Over As Orange Light Phenomena Shines Behind Hill

Here's what not to do when driving in some unknown destination in a place that your unfamiliar with.

Firstly, if you see a strange looking light emanating from behind a hill, that's shining upwards and into possible space just keep on driving.

Couple film what they thought was light phenomena from Aliens.

Laser beam from refinery in Alberta in Canada 2019.

Refinery burn off excess gasses and light phenomena makes people think Aliens.

The top image is what the witnesses filmed, but what actually happened is the 2 images directly above at the Alberta, Canada refinery called "Imperial Oil's Strathcona refinery."

Don't pull over at any and all light phenomena, wait until you have gotten at least some distance between you and "it" at least guy's seriously? Because whatevers on the other end of this (harmless or not), it could be absolutely anything! That's why I'm writing about it.

What could it be, I've never seen anything like this one at all. (Keep reading as I found out what it is). Hopefully these people who filmed this are okay... I've started writing about this, and halfway through this I think I've discovered what it is. So, I'm not going to delete this, I'll keep it and show you that no matter what, even when I'm writing about a supposed light phenomenon I'll still be researching into what it could be?

I continued writing:

It's the "never seen anything like it before" which is the most interesting and certainly the strangest part of this entire story. I've tried looking it up (with keyword's) for Alien phenomena and misidentified UFO light's which actually returned a fantastic and really interesting answer. That led me onto doing a reverse image search but in Google Lens. Low and behold I discovered what I think is the answer? I never thought any oil refinery's flame tower acted like a laser beam.

This could be a refinery laser.

I did a screenshot image look up using Google Lens. It returned some amazing things such as these very similar images which are taken from over Edmonton, Alberta in Canada.

It's a refinery laser beam that happens when hydrocarbons are burned off as excess not needed gasses.

Gas get's scrubbed "literally" and these are the stuff plus other unwanted gasses and it's all burned off into the atmosphere.

Apparently local police "was" called numerous times regarding fires, UFOs and Alien activity. It's a clear case of look before you claim anything which is why I alway's say "ask questions, ask for answers", before I make up my mind I always ask for answers in anything that I'd like to know more about.

CBC News did a full post on this light anomaly.

Even if I I've definitely made my mind up, I still ask for more evidence, thought's and opinions because the more informed I am, the better an explanation I can write about.

Here's the extraordinary video which we now know where it happened and when it happened plus what was on the other end of this sighting:
